Prints From Movie Film Clips
You may have some old 8mm or 16mm movie film clips that you would like to have digitized so that you can take the scan to your local One Hour Photo or some other store that will make prints from a digital file. Most stores that develop film will also print digital files.
If you send us your movie film clip, we will digitize it and put it on a CD disk so that you can take that disk to a local store and get prints made from it.
One thing to keep in mind is that the image on the movie film is more than likely NOT going to be the highest quality since they are not taken at the highest quality. When it is blown up, you will see exactly what is on the film but it may not be the quality that you are looking for. That being said, these may be very precious photos for you, low quality or not, and they may be well worth saving.
You can see an example of one particular clip,
above and to the right. This
is a clip from and 8mm film. You can see the results of our final
image below. The movie film clip was scanned at high resolution and
then saved as a 7" x 6" image at 300 pixels per inch. Please note
that we can have prints made for you, if you wish. Or, you take our disk with
your movie film clips on it and get your own prints made at a local
store.
Please call for current rates. Because of special
handling needs, these types of scans necessitate higher than normal
pricing.
