You are going to get the best scans if your album pages have NO Plastic covering the photos.

If you send photos in pages that have plastic sleeves or pages that have "magnetic" plastic covering the photos, you are going to get a certain amount of reflection and, if the plastic is not flat, you will have distortion. This is not the best way to do it, but you might have no other choice. We can do it, but, you should realize that there will be imperfections. The scan above has some "glare" imperfections." Definitely not the best way to scan the photos. Your choice.

The pages of the album MUST be removed from the album so that we can just grab a page and scan it. We should not have to undo any tie strings or take and album apart. Take the pages out and put them in a stack and then put saran wrap around the stack of pages to keep them together. If you can't get the pages out of the album, don't send them to us. We can't scan them if they won't lay flat. ALSO: please note that our shipping costs will probably be more than our order form estimates because of the added weight of your album pages. Basically, whatever it costs you to send to us is going to be what it costs to send back to you, if you use Priority Mail. What if your pictures are in photo albums and you don't want to take them out of the albums but you still want to digitize them? We can help. If you want to send your paper photos to us in "Albums" or "picture frames" of some kind, we will need you to take the pages out of the albums before you send them, or at least make sure that we can easily take the albums apart. These album pages are all scanned into one image. We do NOT edit the individual pictures in the image. We might make an overall adjustment, it that works out good. Otherwise, you will get the overall scan of the page with no adjustment. The good thing about this is if there is writing on the album pages, this will be preserved and you will not have to tear your album up to get the individual pictures out.
